Clinicare mattresses are pressure-relieving mattresses suitable for patients with a medium risk of ulcers or with existing 2nd degree (Stirling) decubitus ulcers. The combination of visco-elastic and foam used in Clinicare mattresses is characterised by shape memory; it reacts to the release of pressure more slowly than common foam mattresses.
Visco-elastic combination and 3 zones: Head and heels zones- 3 foams of different density and profiling. Foam with great distribution properties fills the centre of the mattress. The entire core of the mattress is covered with a layer of thermo-elastic foam, which also helps to distribute pressure well.
Lateral reinforced form edges: The edges of Clinicare mattress is stiffened with harder PUR foam to stabilise the patient and ensure comfort when sitting on the edge of the bed or security sensation when laying.
Lateral stramps handles: The lateral straps handles placed on bottom cover help staff to transport the mattress between wards or from bed to bed.
Total weight for Clinicare mattress is 8,6 kg.
This mattress could be used with patiens weight not higher than 120 kg. Over this load, prevention feature could be affected and foam deformation could be happen on medium term.
Cover is made in exclusive waterproof and vapour permeable material, welded cover with zipper.
The Clinicare mattress core is made of cold polyurethane foam and is divided into three zones according to the profiling shape. The profiled central section is adapted for equal weight distribution.
