The most important, the most extensive, and thanks to LINET, now also the most nurse-focused – that was the SRATI 2018 congress, an annual event of the Romanian Society of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care. For the first time in its 44-year history, a professional seminar that is focused exclusively on ICU nurses took place as part of this congress; namely a Moving&Handling workshop professionally organized by LINET.
"Most of the 60 workshop participants were not familiar with lateral tilt, the Moving&Handling technology, or slide sheets, and they immediately recognized the immense benefits that these technological novelties offer and the degree to which they facilitate work," says Adéla Vágnerová, LINET Sales Manager for Central and Eastern Europe. According to her, there was also great interest in the bed presentations at the stand of the partner company TEHNOPLUS during all four days of the congress. "The SRATI congress is the only event in the ICU segment at which professionals from the entire country congregate at a given time. The fact that the workshop reached full capacity almost immediately is all the more appreciated," adds Adéla Vágnerová.
The Moving&Handling workshops took place over two days and were part of the official program of the SRATI 2018 congress. "Thanks to the very positive response in Sinaia, we are planning other similar events, in particular for the Bucharest area. In the case of SRATI, we are pleased that we were able to introduce our technologies and the current trends in in-bed patient care to nurses from all corners of Romania," says Adéla Vágnerová.
The congress of the Romanian Society of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care (Romanian abbreviation: SRATI) is held every year in the Sinaia mountain resort, which is well known as a centre for skiing and winter sports, in particular. Romanian intensive care professionals from all over the country meet each year in May in the beautiful scenery of the surrounding countryside at Sinaia Casino, a historical Art Nouveau building that is currently used for organizing social and other events.
