Zbyněk Frolík inducted into Gallery of Industry Personalities
On Monday, October 3, the General Assembly of the Confederation of Industry and Transportation of the Czech Republic marked the start of the 58th annual International Engineering Fair in Brno. President of the Czech Republic Miloš Zeman was in attendance along with Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka, eight ministers, and over four hundred industrialists. During the event, Zbyněk Frolík, founder of the company LINET, was inducted into the Gallery of Industry Personalities.
Mr. Frolík was presented the important honour by the president of the Confederation of Industry and Transportation of the Czech Republic, Jaroslav Hanák, and Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka. In addition to Mr. Frolík, the honour went to Lubomír Stoklasem, owner of the company Agrostroj Pelhřimov, for promoting industry and the region.
“I believe that success in business must be given back to society. That’s why I contribute to charity and devote approximately one third of my time to working for the state,” says Mr. Frolík.
He is the vice president of the Confederation of Industry and Transportation of the Czech Republic, a member of the Czech Council for Export and Investment, the Scientific Council of Military University Hospital Prague, the Government Council for Competitiveness and Economic Development, the Control Council of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic, and an expert group for research, development, and innovation.
"Of course I am very happy that the first of the aforesaid organizations has recognized my contribution to society and at the same time affirmed the great success of LINET. Moreover, the honour was presented before practically all of the ministers of the Czech government, which gave the occasion the right touch of splendour,” adds Mr. Frolík.
