LINET football team on winning streak
In the middle of September, a six-a-side football tournament was held between the teams of wissner-bosserhoff and LINET. The event was hosted by the German city of Wickede, home of the wissner-bosserhoff headquarters.
For several years now, the football teams of wissner-bosserhoff and LINET have gone head-to-head in the autumn in a friendly football match. Organization of this year’s sporting event was the responsibility of LINET’s German partner, who decided to do things a bit differently by expanding the annual friendly match into a full six-a-side football tournament called LINET Group Cup.
Six teams of six competed in the tournament: Wibo 1; Wibo 2; LINET; Wibo NL + BE; Dewert; and a mixed team comprising players from both wi-bo and LINET. The historic inaugural tournament was won by team LINET, who is taking the hard-earned cup back to Želevčice.
The next tournament, which promises to offer football fans as much suspense and fun as this year’s event, will be organized by LINET.
