SFAR 2019
LINET France had a very special weekend that included an exhibition, a visit to the Czech Embassy, a magic show for hospitalized children and a marathon.
It all began with the French Society of Anesthesia and Intensive Care (SFAR) 2019 Congress that ran from the 19th to the 21st of September and took place at the Palais des Congrès in Paris. This event focused on Anesthesia, Resuscitation and Perioperative Medicine. LINET France displayed the Multicare bed with an Opticare mattress and a Sprint 100 stretcher. Amandine Croisy and Karine Romano, both of whom are clinical nurses, were at the booth with Benoit Lamerant, Sales Representative, to demonstrate and answer questions.
LINET Group is a partner of the Czech Embassy in Paris which participated in European Heritage Days on the 21st and 22nd. This annual program offers opportunities to visit buildings, monuments, and sites, many of which are not normally accessible to the public. It aims to widen access and foster care for architectural and environmental heritage. The historic embassy building was built in 1912 and around 900 children and adults had the chance to visit and explore four rooms located on the ground floor. The guests enjoyed an exciting program that included music by Czech composer Mr. Kyrstof Maratka, and paintings by Ms. Andrea Schmidt, born in the Czech Republic, who also guided a traditional Czech gingerbread decoration workshop.
On the same weekend, LINET France also took part in the Marathon of Tours where they ran to raise money on behalf of Magic at the Hospital, an association of magicians that provide magic for hospitalized children to bring them dreams and show that life hasn’t forgotten them. Those who didn’t run committed themselves to help the association organize an animated "village" for sick children with games, treats, wizards, and the largest magic wand in the world (37 m) sponsored by LINET France. On Sunday morning, they installed an inflatable arch for the 10/20km race for 11,000 runners to pass under. The weekend was magic for the children and the LINET team.
