LINET Was Visited by Ambassador of the United States of America
On Friday, January 12, U.S. Ambassador to the Czech Republic Stephen B. King visited headquarters of LINET, the leading producer of health care and nursing care beds. The main topics of the meeting with the company’s founder Zbyněk Frolík were accomplishments and expansion of the company LINET on the North American market.
“The results of LINET, which evidence exemplary business partnership between the Czech Republic and the United States, impressed me and I am glad that my first visit out of Prague was in Slaný. I consider it to be a large step towards my goal to visit all regions of the Czech Republic and meet local people,” said His Excellency Stephen B. King.
LINET is currently the fourth largest producer in its field and the only non-American company which managed to break through the factual dominant position of the companies Hill-Rom and Stryker. LINET holds the third place on the North American market.
“The position which you achieved is in one word impressive, considering the relatively short history of LINET. Think of the current situation on the American market as an opportunity for further growth and do not acknowledge the opinion that the American market should be supplied only by local businesses,” stated His Excellency during his meeting with the company’s owner Zbyněk Frolík. His Excellency furthermore introduced the management of LINET to his efforts to motivate Czech companies to invest on the American market. Zbyněk Frolík personally thanked him for this endeavor and pointed out the role of Weston Stacey, the Executive Director of The American Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic.
