The body of the mattress consists of a combination of two cold polyurethane foams in two layers. The upper surface of the mattress is profiled in those places where the greatest pressure is generated on the patient’s skin: the head, sides and feet. Due to this profiling, there is better air circulation between the patient’s skin and the base. It also helps to optimally distribute pressure.
Two-layer core: Thanks to two-layer core technology, the mattress has a high load capacity and also ensures patient comfort.
Transport handles on the cover: The transport handles on the side of the cover can be used for better handling and easier relocation of the mattress.
Cuttings on the bottom layer of the mattress: PrimaCare 20 has cuttings on the bottom, due to which the pressure on the patient is optimised during positioning of the bed.
The way the mattress core is profiled helps correctly distribute pressure between the patient and the mattress. In addition to a clinical preventive effect, this affords greater comfort because the mattress adapts to the shape of the patient’s body. Due to the profiling the mattress better reacts to the positioning of the bed.

Thanks to two-layer core technology, the mattress has a high weight limit and also ensures patient comfort.
With correct positioning of the patient, the mattress is suitable for patients up to a third degree risk of the incidence of pressure ulcers.
The total weight of the mattress is 11.5 kg.
This mattress is suitable for patients with a maximum weight of 200 kg. Above this weight, the preventive anti-decubitus effects may be restricted, and the mattress may be deformed.
The PrimaCare 20 mattress is standardly available in sizes 200x86x14 cm and 200x90x14 cm. Special requirements for other dimensions can be dealt with on an individual basis.
The mattress cover is made of a flexible vapour-permeable material with a concealed zip.
