The mattress consists of a monolithic foam core. Due to profiling in the upper part of the mattress in the area of the patient’s hips, there is better air circulation and better distribution of pressure between the patient’s skin and the base.
Cuttings in the bottom part of the mattress: The mattress has cuttings on the bottom, due to which the pressure on the patient is optimised during positioning of the bed.
Mattress cover made of vapour-permeable material: Helps reduce patient perspiration and also reduces skin moisture.

The way the mattress core is contoured helps correctly distribute pressure between the patient and the mattress. The EffectaCare 20 mattress is standardly available in sizes 200x86x14 cm and 200x90x14 cm. Special requirements for other dimensions can be dealt with on an individual basis.
The mattress core consists of a solid block of polyurethane foam.
The mattress cover is made of a flexible vapour-permeable material with a concealed zip.
This mattress is suitable for patients with a maximum weight of 150 kg. Above this weight, the preventive anti-decubitus effects may be restricted, and the mattress may be deformed.
With correct positioning of the patient, the mattress is suitable for patients with up to a second degree risk of the incidence of pressure ulcers.
The total weight of the mattress is 8.5 kg.
